About Abby Stork, MD FACOG

Originally from Topeka, Kansas, she earned her bachelor degrees in Biological Sciences and French from the University of Southern California. She returned to earn her medical degree at the University of Kansas School of Medicine, where she discovered a passion for women’s health. She went on to complete her residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Having witnessed the profound impact of pelvic floor disorders on a woman’s quality of life, she chose to continue her training at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, Texas in the sub-specialty of Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery.

Dr. Stork specializes in the medical and surgical management of prolapse and incontinence, with an expertise in minimally-invasive surgery that includes robotic, vaginal, and vaginal natural orifice transluminal endoscopic surgery (vNOTES). She is also trained in the management of painful bladder syndrome (interstitial cystitis), recurrent urinary tract infections, and childbirth-related injuries. She aims to provide compassionate and personalized care that empowers her patients to be a part of the decision-making process. When she’s not at the office, she enjoys running, yoga, and spending quality time with her husband, newborn son, and dog.
