Patrick Nosti, MD FACOG
Patrick Nosti, MD, FACOG, is a board-certified and fellowship trained female pelvic medicine and reconstructive surgeon (FPMRS) and board-certified gynecologist with an extensive background in treating pelvic organ prolapse, urinary incontinence, and fecal incontinence. At Urogynecology of Kansas City, Dr. Nosti proudly serves the Kansas City metro area.
Dr. Nosti grew up in Kansas City where his father, Dr. Juan Nosti, established his Plastic Surgery practice. He went on to complete his undergraduate degree at the University of Pennsylvania and received his medical degree from the University of Kansas School Of Medicine.
With a strong interest in women’s health, Dr. Nosti moved to Indianapolis, Indiana, for his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology. During his training he worked closely with pelvic floor specialists performing surgeries and research related to the field. Based on this experience, he decided to proceed with additional training. He was accepted into one of the nation’s premier Urogynecology Fellowships at Georgetown University in Washington DC.
During his three year fellowship he focused on the treatment of pelvic floor disorders, including medical and surgical management of urinary incontinence and pelvic organ prolapse. He performed hundreds of innovative and complex procedures with some of the nation’s top pelvic surgeons. He also rotated with surgeons in the related fields of Colorectal Surgery, Urology and Plastic Surgery. He published extensively on pelvic floor disorders and won research and teaching awards. During his training he focused on minimally invasive vaginal, laparoscopic and robotic surgery becoming certified in the Fundamentals of Laparoscopic Surgery. He also traveled to Rwanda with the International Organization of Women’s Development (IOWD) to treat women with complex pelvic floor disorders.
After completing his fellowship in 2013, Dr. Nosti moved back to Kansas City to launch Urogynecology of Kansas City, a specialty center focused on the treatment of pelvic floor dysfunction. He has maintained a membership in multiple specialty organization including the American Urogynecology Society, Society of Gynecologic Surgeons, and American Congress of Obstetrians and Gynecologists.
In his free time, Dr. Nosti loves to spend time with his two children and his wife, Hanae. He enjoys being outdoors, traveling and relaxing with friends and family.
